The WPSN-C’s Sudan Working Group is screening Sudan, Remember Us, followed by a panel discussion with Sudanese women human rights defenders and feminist allies.
Sudan, Remember Us captures a pivotal moment in Sudan’s recent history, following young Sudanese activists who mobilized for democratic change and documents the challenges that followed. The screening will be followed by a discussion on the current situation in Sudan and the experiences of Sudanese women and civil society actors.
This event has been organized by the WPSN-C’s Sudan Working Group in collaboration with Amnesty International Canada, Inter Pares, and the Human Rights Research and Education Centre at the University of Ottawa.
