On May 27, 2026, Group of 78 Chair Ted Jackson, on behalf of the Board of Directors, wrote to Ruby Dagher expressing our deep appreciation for Dr. Dagher’s superb leadership as Chair of the G78 Peace and Security Working Group and as a member of the Executive Committee. “No strategic assessment was too big or immediate need too small for your formidable organizational skills and energy, all informed by your leading-edge, multidisciplinary scholarship and teaching, valuable gifts you shared generously with us,” he wrote.
