Hon. Bob Rae and Hon. Lloyd Axworthy Spoke at Political Studies Students’ Conference

On January 29, 2025, the Honourable Bob Rae and the Honourable Lloyd Axworthy spoke at the 40th Annual J.W. Dafoe Political Studies Students’ Conference held at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

This year’s conference celebrated the United Nations at 80. The Hon. Bob Rae, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the United Nations in New York opened the conference on Wednesday evening, delivering The Paul Buteux Memorial Lecture. The keynote was followed by a Q&A session with Hon. Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Canada, which included questions from the audience.
