To Remember… The Women, Men and Children of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

On August 6th at 6:00 pm, there will be an event at the Friends House (Ottawa Quakers) to remember the victims from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb attack. The activities will start at 6: oo pm with lantern making, at 7:00 pm there will be a program presentation and discussion. At 8: 00 pm, the event will finalize with a walk to Rideau Canal to float lanterns. We give thanks to Murray Thomson and many others who continue to struggle to rid the world of nuclear weapons.
