March 15, 2022 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Event Summary:

Climate Change and mass extinction have emerged as the twin existential environmental crises of our time. In response, movements and decision-makers are increasingly advocating for new approaches and bold commitments that reflect the scale of the problem. In this talk, Graham will cover many of the emerging trends related to nature conservation and reflect on how we can help put big new ideas into action in Canada.

Graham Saul has more than 25 years of experience working on social and environmental justice issues. He has a strong background in the climate and environmental movements, including work with Oxfam in Mozambique, with various multilateral development banks, as an international programme director for Friends of the Earth and Oil Change International, as Executive Director of Climate Action Network and as a founding member of Ecology Ottawa. He brings this rich diversity of experience to his leadership of the remarkable and inspiring staff and volunteers that make up the Nature Canada team.
