On May 28, 2025, the annual general meeting of the Group of 78 honoured the excellent leadership of Dr. Roy Culpeper, who served as Chair of the G78 for 11 years. The more than 30 members attending the AGM elected Dr. Ted Jackson, public policy professor and development consultant, as the organization’s new Chair. The meeting also welcomed two new Board members, Genevieve Harrison and Tierra Habedus-Sorensen, who will also join the Executive Committee, with Gen as new Treasurer. The contributions and stewardship of outgoing Treasurer Gord Breedyk were recognized, as were the hard work and dedication of G78’s Executive Secretary, Maude Stephany.
